In an effort to limit spamming your inbox with MET related alerts we as a team do try to limit sending more than a few messages simultaneously however we have been asked to share information in regards to Strut Safe a UK wide phone line for those walking alone either from the shop or a night out, the phone line puts you in contact with Strut Safe volunteers who will have a chat with you on your journey to keep you company and feel safe out and about, this is very useful in your local area as you know are in close proximity to Shoreditch and old street with a variety of residential areas as well. 

Linked below is both the Strut safe website and the British Sign Language version of Strut safe, called SignVideo, you will be connected to a video call with a professional BSL interpreter who will interpret your conversation with a Strut Safe volunteer, keeping you company until you get through the door.

The service is available Thursday to Sunday

Friday and Saturday: 1900hrs to 0300hrs

Thursday and Sunday: 1900hrs to 0100hrs
